Dear Dn. Daniel,Thank you for the photos. However, it is with a deep sense of sadness that I note the fact that you continue to ignore the desperate situation being confronted by the historic Ethiopian monastery in Jerusalem, namely, its urgent need for repair. I'm sure you are aware that the repair could not take place because of the objection of the Egyptian Coptic church including the person you glorified, the late Pope Shenouda, with the implicit support of the Israeli Government. How a renowned deacon of your caliber completely ignores such a desperate situation facing our historic legacy truly amazes me.I urge you to reconsider your position and use your substantial capacity for the urgent repair of our monastery and not satisfy yourself with showing seemingly fine photos which do not reflect the actual sad reality. I suggest that you lead the campaign for the repair or at least support the cause.
Where r z photos &/or all z contet?
Dear Dn.Daniel, have you read the interview of our father Abun Absadi who were lived in Jerusalem? how can I appreciate Christianity of Egyptians? even if their Popes ?
I want to thank you for posting the pictures. But please don't forget to mention the problem we have at der sultan. I hope you saw how sad it is to look at our monastery in that very special land messed up. Imagine living with a broken toilet. The rooms that where the monks live at der sultan- it is unbelieveable. All the monasteries around Golgotha live with the money that the visitors give/donate. Our monastery don't attract many of them to come and visit, and drop some money in the muday mitsewat if possible. Because it is too old comparing to others around there. I hope we will be able to do something if there is someone who is influential can help us add his/her imput.
